Resolutions
(2003)
He swears he will change what was, he will change the wrongs to right
A resolution he wakes up to... every night
People ask can he be going crazy, or just insane
He claws at the walls, only to find thin air
He watches the time slip away, distant horizons
Fleeting memories and images he tries to contain
Will they change their minds one day, empty voices linger on
People turning eyes on one another, never getting answers
So long has he waited, never-ending twilight
Haunting images holding him down, tied to the ground
Leaving now, grasping for yesterday
Never having had a chance to thank them
What might they think of him now
Don't they know he misses them, do they know he loves them
No more tears, no more fears, it all ends here
A revelation made a resolution, he will not fail
